Bible Teachings 410 - Jesus Saves (Pt.6)

Hello there. Welcome to Entrepreneurial Goddess and the special edition, feature-length finale of my mini Bible series "Bible Teachings". I hope you have enjoyed this series and learned some Bible truths as well. If you happened to miss any previous episodes along the way or just need a refresher, you may revisit the entire series here.
Let's recap: Previously, you learned that Jehovah God requires you to take action to get to know Him and His Son, Jesus Christ in order to help you endure the race for life and put you in line for the benefits of Jesus' ransom sacrifice. Today, we'll summarize the importance of accurate knowledge and truth.

Back in the Garden of Eden, Jehovah God specifically told the first human pair that eating from the forbidden tree would be an act of disobedience for which death would be the penalty (Genesis 2:16-17*). Satan called Jehovah God a liar by telling Eve she would not die if she ate from said tree (Genesis 3:1-5*). The first human pair listened to Satan and ate the forbidden fruit (Genesis 3:6, 7*). With what result? They both died, selling us into immediate slavery of imperfection, sin and death (Genesis 3:16-19; Romans 5:12*). Who turned out to be the liar? Ultimately it was Satan! (John 8:44*)
From Eden right to the modern day, Satan has been challenging God's Sovereignty and slandering God's Holy Name. How? Recall the account in Job 1:6-12; 2:1-6*. Satan said humans only served God for selfish reasons and when beset by trials and tribulations, they would quickly turn away from serving Him faithfully. To disprove Satan's challenge, God permitted him [Satan] to put Job to the test. In one day, thanks to Satan, Job lost all his children and material possessions (Job 1:13-22*). Later, he was struck with terrible boils (Job 2:7, 8*). Did he turn away from Jehovah God? Absolutely not...he passed Satan's tests with flying colours! (Job 1:22; 2:9, 10*) Again, who turned out to be the villain? You guessed it...Satan the Devil!
There are many more accounts in the Bible of faithful servants of God being put to the test by Satan and maintaining their integrity to God. Jesus is the finest example though (Matthew 4:1-11*). While on earth, he committed no wrongdoing whatsoever, but he was tried, convicted and ultimately killed for telling the truth about God! (Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:22, 23*). For his faithfulness and integrity, Jesus was resurrected back to heaven as a powerful spirit creature and is currently the reigning King of God's Kingdom [government] (Daniel 7:13, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:25*).
These are basic fundamental truths that God wants you to know and understand. Satan doesn't want you to know God or worship Him so he employs many traps and schemes [like the Trinity Doctrine - something not even taught in the Bible] to hide the truth about Jehovah God and Jesus (2 Corinthians 13-15; Revelation 12:9, 17*). So how does one go about finding out the truth about Jehovah God whom we cannot see? By studying the Bible to learn what God actually says and teaches (Isaiah 48:17, 18*). God cannot lie (Titus 1:2*).
Getting to know Jehovah God and His Son, Jesus Christ, will help you avoid Satan's traps of materialism, sexual immorality, adultery and even alternative lifestyles - all part of the morally-depraved "junk food" this world has to offer (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10*). To know God better then, you must come to love what He loves and hate what He hates (Psalms 97:10; Amos 5:15*). Notice what Jesus said at Matthew 22:37, 38*: "'You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.' This is the greatest and first commandment."
Whether you choose to believe it or not, God's wrath, His Day of Judgement (Zephaniah 1:14*) will soon come upon this wicked and immoral world under Satan's rule (Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:3-6; 1 John 5:19*). Your life is at stake. John 17:3* says: "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ." If you sincerely wish to benefit from Jesus' ransom sacrifice, it's not yet too late to repent and turn around (Acts 3:19; 2 Peter 3:11*). Remember the days of Noah when everyone was eating, drinking and having a jolly good time? (Matthew 24:38, 39*) Those people had forsaken Jehovah God, too busy wrapped up in their everyday activities to heed His warnings. Only Noah and his family [eight of them in total] survived the Flood (Genesis 7:23; 2 Peter 2:5*). Don't be like those who were destroyed because they didn't listen to God and the prophets whom He sent (Proverbs 1:5; Isaiah 55:3*). I urge you friends, take action NOW. Show you appreciate the gift of the ransom, become reconciled to God and "you will know the truth, and the truth will set you FREE!" (Matthew 7:13, 14: John 3:16; John 8:32; 1 Timothy 2:3-6*)
